The main thing is to look for hydrolyzed collagen peptides rather than regular collagen because they're broken down into smaller molecules that are easier for your body to absorb. Some people find that marine collagen absorbs slightly better. To maximize any potential benefits, pair your collagen with a good skincare routine that includes topical retinoids or peptides, vitamin C serum, and daily sunscreen. Hope this helps!

Its the ultimate snake oil.

Take vitamin C instead.

There isn't any evidence for oral or topical collagen.

We break down the stuff we eat and is your body supposed to know it was meant for your skin and not your knees?

There's an article in the Times today by a woman who felt she wasted a year and lots of money waiting to see the benefits of the collagen she was taking. She was very disappointed and felt she'd been duped.

Elastic skin? That'll do me.
