What to wear with Nike dunks

My 5’3” and a size 10. I like chinos in the summer but what kind of trousers would you wear now with Nike dunks? I’m not sure about baggy jeans on me. I’m
between an apple and a pear shape wise.

I can’t abide any waistband above my navel.

Why not carry on with chinos? I'm sure they look fine with trainers of any kind.

I wore cargo jeans with mine today.

I was looking at jeans on the John Lewis app and lots look great on the models but then up close I wasn’t so sure and the models are all very leggy so jeans look very different on someone dumpy like me.
I do love chinos but is it too early for chinos? I’d need to up my jacket game too. My school run ski jacket wouldn’t cut it 🤣 I walk everywhere so my wardrobe is based on practical for the weather and comfortable. Stylish I am not.

I remembered I had a pair of FatFace black linen trousers that I’d intended to get tapered slightly as well as taken up. They look great with the shoes so I'm
very happy. They still need taking up by several inches. It must be nice to have legs that are a standard length.
