Laser hair removal and managing hair between sessions

I have finally decided to get laser hair removal on my legs, bikini line, lip and chin.

First session later this week and I have as instructed stopped using any hair removal methods that remove hair at the root. I don't particularly like shaving my legs and bikini line but it will be fine.

I have never shaved my fave before though and OMG the stubble is driving me absolutely potty! I hate the feeling as it grows through and the sensation in the hair follicles when the hairs are rubbed against the direction of growth, and it looks hideous.

I don't know how I am going to cope with this for months.

I'm exfoliating and moisturising as instructed.

Please give me some hints for dealing with it, and reassure me that it won't be this bad after a treatment or two!

Demanding is a good alternative for the face that doesn’t feel like shaving though it technically is.

I don't really understand how that will give a different result in terms of stubble regrowth. Can you explain? I am happy to try if it will help.
