Travelling to Spain 19th April. Room wont be ready when we arrive so its bags dropped and wander out. Should be fairly hot 20° so want a nice, comfortable outfit, layers Im guessing. Hotel is lovely also.

So what to wear?

The one on the right looks perfect and you can add a jumper or jacket if its chilly on the plane. I wouldn't wear white trousers in an airport or on a plane, they will be filthy by the end of the day.

Thanks...Not sure what colour to go with though

Beige trousers. And yes, jumper for the plane and you can stick it in the case when putting the case in.

I travel either in drawstring wide leg trousers, reiss or me and em, a vest top and an over sized jumper over the top. Cashemere or cashmere mix, As the jumper is warm but thin and easy to fold and put in a bag,

I also often wear a racerback sun dress, long and stretchy, again with an oversized jumper, smart trainers to travel in, that are soft and comfy.

If the forecast closer to the time looks like it’s going to be warm then I would put something to change into either in my hand luggage or at the top of my case, and then I would pop into the toilets and change when I got there. Certainly I would want to swap my trainers for sandals, and I don’t think wide leg light coloured trousers are the best for travelling. Possibly something like a linen jogger style trouser with elastic at the bottom may be OK, fairly loose on your leg but not likely to brush on the floor in the aeroplane toilet.

I always travel in long skirts or dresses for those reasons- keeps you warm enough in this country and on the plane then it’s floaty enough when you step off the plane not to be too hot.
paired with a no sleeved top and a denim jacket or sweater.
