Blackest, cheapest, runniest mascara possible for fancy dress

I need a really cheap mascara for a fancy-dress outfit; as part of the look it needs to run down my face like I’ve been crying.

All my usual mascaras are tubing so I’m looking for the total opposite of what I’m used to. Please can anyone recommend a very cheap, very pigmented mascara with absolutely terrible staying power?!

Just buy any cheap mascara in Superdrug or Boots and rub it as soon as you put it on?

I can of course do that, but mascaras have improved so much even in the cheap brands that it might not run as much as I’d like!

As long as it’s not a waterproof mascara or a tubing one, it will run if you wet it and rub it. Just buy the cheapest one they’ve got. They’ll all be much of a muchness.

Or use a bit of oily makeup remover or eye cream on your eyelids & lashes first? Then any non tubing mascara should run/smear. Plus soft pencil eyeliner heavily applied.
