We set a record with the last thread. Just 2 weeks from start to finish!!!!

So here's the new one and we're now in double digits.

As always everyone is welcome to join even if you've just been lurking, but like those kids on the back of the school bus your Mum warned you about, we are a bad influence.... 😈

Thanks for the Liberty heads up. It’s been an expensive morning for me. Bought the Mother’s Day kit, LE Betty and Vega palettes and got the gwp.
Earlier, went to M&S and got loads of their own brand apothecary shower gel and refill pouches in the sale (apparently they’re changing the packaging) plus some work clothes and more Prai products to add to the online order earlier in the week.

I plan to have a super cheap March now so aim to step away from the temptation of the thread for a few weeks. I doubt my resolve will last long, it’s too much fun 🤩.

Doglover73 · 28/02/2026 11:46

I went in my local m and s yesterday and there was loads of their apothecary for sale. I resisted. As place an order for loads of loccitane earlier in the week to be delivered to store. Im debating whether to collect or not as I dont really need the stuff but it was a bargain and I do use loccitane.

My parcels off vinted have come in cult boxes recycled which I dont mind as hate one time use boxes etc.
I have 3 of each. Im very happy with them. Im taking the hair gain atm and will use most of other bits.
Ive just tried the huda primer. Thank you @MrsBnow12 for the swatch. 🥰
Ive just tried on my hand and not too dark so will try after. Im also going to try the medik 8 c tetra advanced. Ive been meaning to pull out a mini tatcha vit c serum before I open my space nk calendar one but will use the medik 8 one today. Its ben over a week ive ben meaning to do it and I need to use vit c. Presume the tatcha will be good for a while.
Just need to avoid the vinted notifications now and not be tempted with more. 😂

Edited to say says marketplace on postage sticker so I presume they sell on Ebay as well x

I too am going to try the huda primer after initially thinking to sell it, prices have gone so low on the usual sites that it's not worth it anymore. I was put off by the darkness but due to everyone's tales of how sheer it goes, it's worth a punt. Maybe more one for summer but I'm optimistically thinking that's not too far off now that we are nearly in March

Oh dear, I am just heading into M&S and I love the apothecary products. Also wearing the huda primer today, very nice although I should have waited longer for my SPF to sink in before applying

I use the original version. I find it good under any foundations and skin tints that have a tendency to break down a bit in the T zone. It's not a miracle worker but definitely helps.

Thanks to whoever originally posted about the CB goody bag on Vinted.
I collected mine today and I’m really pleased with it. Think it’s great value for the price.

Thelifeofawife · 28/02/2026 12:27

@Addictedtobeauty I had the same thought about stepping away for a bit to avoid temptation as I’ve spent way too much these past few months. But I enjoy the chit chat and bargains 😊

IlovePond · 28/02/2026 12:41

I lasted about four days away from the thread in January - just long enough to miss the a/c bargain info 🙀

Then I succumbed to the inevitable and came back…

TragicMuse · 28/02/2026 12:47

I’m exercising iron will! It’s buckling elsewhere (clothes are great aren’t they?!) but having my stash easy to see is actually helping!

Thelifeofawife · 28/02/2026 12:53

Has anyone tried the Perricone MD products? I think it’s been mentioned here before but I can’t fully recall

IlovePond · 28/02/2026 12:55

@Thelifeofawife - just the lipstick and it was vile - I’m a bit of a hoarder but even I managed to chuck it away!

JoRaRaRa · 28/02/2026 13:00

My February buys list is rather long 🤣 oops! I'm sure there's a few things I've missed too and I've not put all my vinted purchases on.

Victoria beckham palette, eyeliner and mascara £60
River island jeans £15
Debenhams valentines £28.50
Thameen perfume £35
JHAG Powder love
Sephora eyeshadow palette £5
PK scalp serum £8
Byoma mask £8
Patrick Ta concealer £29
Chanel palette £75
Dior palette £62
Cult Beauty 40% debacle £150
Another PT blush £29
CB advent calendar + extras £166
Vinted CB gwps £100
Ysl blusher £27
Prai neck cream £20
River island dress £32
New jeans £48

Hoping to achieve a low / no buy march 🤞

IlovePond · 28/02/2026 13:04

That makes me feel better @JoRaRaRa!

I wish I had bought another Boots Stackers box.

I now have two cupboard shelves looking nice and three looking even worse than they did before by comparison!

Pleased to have chucked a few things out, though!

LouScot · 28/02/2026 13:10

I too collected my "fairy parcel"' this morning. Tried the Huda primer, didn't think it had dine much but skin looks better after putting CC cream on. Although it's a new CC cream (just Erobian) so who knows! It looks like a very light tan at first but when smoothed out barely noticeable. It didn't have the wow effect on some of my larger pores but it's more subtle than polyfiller!

Mine came in a recycled "THG fulfil" box.

BlueLimes · 28/02/2026 13:17

I don’t think February was too bad:

3x Zoeva eyeliners £49
Gucci blush £26
John Lewis Mother’s Day box £60
Jacket m and s £60

I like the Sub D neck cream. Nearly emptied one of those. Hated the Neuropeptide face cream, got them in a set from QVC. Going to have to try and use that up on the neck or body.

I think @BakeOffRewatch has tried some stuff too.

Oh I feel enabled.

https://beauty-detective.com/cult-beauty-sweet-spritz-edit-2026/

CB fragrance edit. I only want one of these (Maybe 2) so I’ll probably try to pick up on vinted.

Dirty Milk is lovely. Shame it's only 2ml.

I also liked the neck cream but am struggling through the lipstick and the foundation compact. Therefore I would buy skincare but not makeup from them another time!

Oh bother! This one really does appeal to me, and I’d been doing so well on passing by all of the edits.

IDontHateRainbows · 28/02/2026 13:34

The huda primer has been tried. Its true that the bronze sheers out completely but it feels wrong to wear something bronzey in winter! It is still winter in my opinion. I have a very variable skin tone, the first flash of sun and I go a different shade, so all my skin stuff ( powder, foundation) is winter or summer. Think I'll keep this for warmer sunnier days.

I love the feel of the P. Cold Plasma Plus cream, and my skin is soft afterwards but it does smell like a pile of grass clippings in hot summer sun.

IDontHateRainbows · 28/02/2026 13:37

My glossy box mother's day edit is en route. Got it for £40 thanks to a pp's code.

Will definitely keep the juice personal, not sure about the other scents. The diffuser will come in handy.

The neck cream doesn't smell great either but I quickly got used to it.
