I'm a total convert to neck creams. I've lost 5 stone and have been worried about my neck but yesterday I asked ChatGPT how old I look and it commented that I have a good jawline/neck which I was very pleased about!

I'd never used neck cream before December and I've used a few since then - Elevator, This Works and Elemis (Prai on the way!) but I think the key thing is making the effort to put it on and massage upwards along the jawline, I really feel it makes a difference

@Branster You’ve just reminded me that they did send me something in the post, it’s not for my birthday, but because I was nearing deluxe tier. It is a free candle with my next order - I placed a £100 order a couple of days ago 🤦‍♀️

@JoRaRaRa The same thing happened to me last year, I think that’s why I’m so determined to get something this year. It’s annoying because they should have sufficient stock if they are going to offer it out. They shouldn’t run out in the first few days of the month.

Getting stubborn in my old age but making GWP, offers etc app only just makes me more stubborn and less likely to bother with the app.

Hi, I managed to get a Stackers toolbox half price. It’s nice, but doesn’t fit anywhere near as much as the make up organiser. At some point, bargain-hunting willing, I might buy a matching drawer for one or both of my Stackers organisers.

Here’s a pic of it filled. It’s overflow stuff that is waiting to be used, but at least it’s not hidden in a bag and is where I can see it. I will be putting stuff in front of it, but not too much, so it’s not buried.

I have also thrown a few more ancient bits away - hurray!

Whilst tidying up the cupboard of shame, I have found a few vintage items that didn’t get their full/any use because I was ‘saving them for best’! They have been languishing at the back of the cupboard for years and am really annoyed with myself!

I’ve just sold one on eBay: A beautiful vintage bottle. I obviously sold it ridiculously cheap as it was snapped up immediately by a dealer. I didn’t really mind too much as I was originally going to throw it away🙈 (BNIB are going for £200+🙀)

Googling the CD ‘make up dice’ from years ago just now, I was miffed to see these are going for £80+ on eBay when I only chucked mine away very recently 🙈🙈🙈

If any of you have similar knocking around from when the premium perfume/make up brands used to do beautiful collectible Xmas items as charms/bracelets/necklaces or ornaments, I would urge you to either sell them or put them on display. Don’t make my mistake and throw them out or hide them for years!

I was pondering this a bit last night @IlovePond - I have all my Tatcha stuff which I'm saving while I get other bits out of the way.

I think I should just start using it, but I'm worried that I'll use it and love it so much that the rest of my stash will be disappointing. Maybe I should give myself a target of getting some of my other stuff out of the way and start using the Tatcha in December?

Sounds like a plan @keepincool I am deliberately not using the KBeauty stuff I have atm, (apart from some blusher and lipsticks), because it all has long sell by dates.

On an unrelated: I’m really annoyed- just sold something on eBay and immediately the buyer asked to cancel. I didn’t have a problem with that, but eBay have not actually paid me the money so the refund came out of my bank account as I didn’t have any eBay credit. If they don’t actually clear her payment and give it to me I will be out of pocket. Plus this now counts as part of my 30 items sold.

I am really miffed!

I’m hoping my new storage arrangements will help me to keep on top of using things and dissuade from buying more.

I have also put all my extra hair products and shower stuff into two large separate see-through make up bags and am not buying any more until it’s all used up.

My GWP from the fairy just arrived in a Charlotte Tilbury box which surprised me! Surely it can't be just an individual buying them and packaging up in whatever they have to hand?

@namechange0998776554799000 yes, mine came in boxes that had already been used. I also found it weird, maybe they're packaging collectors? I'm a bit like that, I have a big box in my dining area that's full of mailing boxes and another in the boot of my car 🙈
