@OvaHere I absolutely went and looked 😇 I like that there's a locked defib machine being auctioned off 🤣 how random! It all reminds me of the aldi middle aisle... Hair trimmer, ice cream maker, foot spa, defib machine, vitamins 🤣

I best not sign up to it, I used to go crazy on ebay, I think I liked the hit that came with winning an auction. I once bought a coat and when it arrived, the person had sent it in a black bin liner and it absolutely stank of cigarette smoke 🤢 my mum put it straight in the outside bin 🤣 I think that was the end of my proper ebaying days.

I used the scary looking primer from the Cult Gwp today (I am fair with neutral undertone) and it didn’t make me look like an umpa lumpa, to be fair you could barely notice a different undertone.

I searched it on insta earlier and watched some people applying it to see how it looked. I'm looking forward to trying it, hopefully it suits me as I'll have so many 🙈

I found a YT short. Apologies for the annoying JStar and his filters but it was the only one that popped up with fair skin. To be fair his review seems to echo what @MrsBnow12 said - there isn't much difference between this and the original.

Maybe it wasn't popular for that reason so ended up in this gwp. I'm happy though, not much difference from the original means it's very usable for me and will keep me stocked up as the tubes don't last that long with regular use.

I wonder if the Medik8 Vit C hasn't been that popular (other than amongst us lot)? That's been in a lot of edits/gwps for a relatively new product. Maybe it's the price point. I really like it but I'd be loathe to buy at full price.

@OvaHere I suspect with the C-tetra most people (like me) are more drawn to the original rather than the advanced, due to price point.
In fact, I’ve never actually tried the advanced version, I hope I like it as much (or more) than the original, given how many I’ve ended up with 😅

Has anyone done returns with Cult Beauty? I’ve never returned any make up/beauty products to any retailer. I’ve gone on to request to return the Gucci blush due to the smudge in it. I’ve put a note to say that I’d like it to be replaced. Will they do an exchange, or will it be a case of refund and repurchase? And if so, will I be expected to return the GWP?

I've done returns with CB before and it's always been fine, I've never done it for a damaged / faulty item though. I need to do mine too. I don't like the thought that someone else has touched it, even if I did get it at 40% off 🤭 It says to add photos which is why I haven't done it yet. I'm still lusting after the ysl fuschia fizz, I'm not sure why it's taking me so long to order.

Is the original a watery one? I assume so due to the bottle and pipette. I have a bottle from an edit but I keep skipping over it in favour of serum ones which is why I like the new C Tetra.

It is so wrong that people are allowed to return these items but they don’t quality check them before reselling them, especially at that price point.

I haven't but I suspect they will tell you to return the whole order for a refund and repurchase. I might be wrong but I could see that being what's easiest for their IT system to cope with.

I might use it next then and stop passing on it. I'm using Glow Recipe since finishing the C Tetra Luxe. It feels like a step down tbh and I just want it to be used up so I can start one I like better. 😁

Which shade did you get? I'm a bit worried that they're going to say that it was me who tested it. I don't know why the packaging isn't where they can tell if you've opened it. I like the design on the top of it, but yes, I think I prefer the overall packaging of the ysl too.

There seemed to be a lot of full size medik8 in all advent calendars and it's kinda continued with edits too. They must be really driving to get everyone using their products.

Lisa Eldridge has re-released another palette. It looks lovely but I need another brown palette like a hole in the head. So I won't be getting this one.

Off topic question, but what do you do if you go on holiday and you know your foundation shade will change? Should I guess what colour I’ll be and buy it in advance? I’m so confused!

You could take some bronzing drops to add to your foundation. The Drunk Elephant one is nice and WA do one too. Could also take darker bronzer and go over your foundation.

Not a problem I've ever had though. I leave pale and come back pale. If not for good SPF I'd come back red and peeling, then go back to pale.😂
