We set a record with the last thread. Just 2 weeks from start to finish!!!!

So here's the new one and we're now in double digits.

As always everyone is welcome to join even if you've just been lurking, but like those kids on the back of the school bus your Mum warned you about, we are a bad influence.... 😈

Another pass. At this rate I’m going to use all my things up.

BakeOffRewatch · 23/02/2026 20:27

I’ve bought/requested the Liberty Mother’s Day edit a couple of years, loved last year’s one, there’s no sniff of one yet

I got this and the Glossybox one last year. Both are a pass. I think my edit spell has broken a teeny bit. It was like Pokemon 12 months ago - gotta catch em all. 😂

Well I had a trip out this afternoon and ended up buying the LE Betty palette from SNK.
I was a bit miffed that I still have not received a birthday email from them yet, and when I asked in store they said just wait until after my birthday to receive it and if not then follow up. I missed out last year as well, despite receiving the email, as they no longer had the products available 😕

On another note, because I ordered the LE palette in store as they had no stock (by the way, this is such a faff, it took ages, I could have done it myself online in about 30 seconds) they asked for my address, etc and asked me to confirm my email, when I did, she said “oh we have a different one”… yes dear, that’s because I use multiple accounts to get ‘new customer’ discounts 🤣🤣
As it happens, I want to use my main email as I’m not far off deluxe status

You would be safer on Ebay also they are getting strict on ised perfumes too . Even if your listing does not get removed by Vinted, the buyer could report it as ‘not as described’ and you could risk losing your item and not getting your money.
Having said that if you have Abel Laundry Day for sale not for ridiculous money I would be happy to buy it of you 😊

I list slightly used as 97% full or whatever and show the fill level, I also say reduced to compensate, buyer knows its been used you have to talk in code but seems to have worked so far. Any mention if tested once/ sprayed once etc it gets pulled.

I mainly lurk on this thread, but am totally addicted to buying beauty products (more than using them if I'm honest! 😂)

This means that I sell a lot on Vinted, please PM me if you would like my Vinted user name. All my items are from edits and advent calendars, so all genuine.

I once bought a fake K18 mask on Vinted, but realised and cancelled my order, and then the seller messaged to ask me why I'd cancelled! 😳

Snap! On the buying and not even using! I get caught up in how lovely they sound.. and then buy because it feels like a good deal… and then regret it when I realise I just want a simple routine that works and not to keep trying new stuff!
Have started selling on Vinted now to at least get some money back but there seems an awful lot on there!

OvaHere · 23/02/2026 21:22

My Vinted CB GWP has shipped so they must have them in hand already rather than ordering to order.

I’ve just caught up on all the chat from earlier about the Vinted sellers. It’s a whole different level isn’t it .

a great response from Chat GPT, whoever posted that. Thanks

Yep, mine too. I'm just going to tell myself that they've bulk bought them from Cult Beauty and no criminal activity took place 🙈 I've followed both sellers and they seem to have sold loads 😳

Sorry, I don’t have that one, otherwise you could definitely have it!

Maybe I’ll just list the untried / sprayed once perfumes.

Thats a good idea, I had a few of mine removed where I said sprayed once etc. So will use wording similar to yours for ebay.
I still would not chance it on Vinted though as its soo easy for the buyer to say it was not new. Vinted CS is useless to put it mildly so I would not be giving scammers any ammunition lol

Thelifeofawife · 23/02/2026 21:48

I never had any issues saying used once/tested only with fragrances. I even sold Hourglass concealer like this - yes I know we aren’t supposed to, but given the cost I couldn’t justify just chucking it in the bin, so I sold it cheaply so someone else could get the benefit of it.
Maybe they are being more strict on the wording of the listings

IDontHateRainbows · 23/02/2026 21:54

Amazed the glow edits are going so cheaply on vinted, I just sold my medik8 c tetra on ebay for £32, so my plan (to earn back enough to heavily subsidise the byredo) seems to be working just need to shift the Dr levy now which I've listed at £29 that will be the main two I'll be happy if I can get rid of those.

I think the censor-bot is primed now to find those words and it auto deletes the listing. It wasn't like that before so it's a recent thing. Shame as i have sold a few used perfumes before, definitely described as such and at stupidly low prices but was of benefit to both me and the buyer as I'd gone off them.

Branster · 23/02/2026 22:04

Very interesting about Vinted sellers listing multiples of these GWPs. I can’t work out why either. I’m guessing they can’t be fake because it is a very new edit. But it doesn’t make much business sense unless they acquired a job lot of GWPs somehow for next to nothing. Hopefully all genuine and legit and, above all, I hope all you lovely posters who found the bargain will enjoy the products.
I’m useless at selling and have a few sessions a year when I try to get rid of stuff but it seems like a lot of hard work. I think if you are consistent you can appreciate the earnings better. Little and often might be easier than bigger one off listing sessions.
I am still in a non spending phase. Boring but I don’t have that FOMO anymore. It won’t last long but am enjoying reading about the lovely finds on here.
I plucked up the courage to start using my new FAQ102 at the weekend. I read and watched everything and I still don’t really know how to use it properly. It even has a stupid app and it’s been quite a journey. I’ll try it again next weekend. Hopefully I’ll get used to it but, more importantly, it better do something radical for the price. Naturally they have a young beautiful flawless model attempting to demonstrate how to use it. Possibly AI? I wish they used cartoons, I’d feel better.

Yes, mine has shipped also!

Thelifeofawife · 23/02/2026 22:18

What I do find strange about these CB listings is that they don’t list the individual items to boost the listing. Some do list the brands but not the items, some just say ‘6 items’
I wonder if they’ve fallen off the back of a truck - because even people selling fakes would list whatever it says on the labels

Thelifeofawife · 23/02/2026 22:20

Something else I’ve been looking at over the past few weeks is the Philips Lumea. I’m still kicking myself that I missed the £185 offer on Amazon, such a rookie mistake!
Anyway, needless to say that Vinted is absolutely flooded with fakes!

RockaLock · 23/02/2026 09:48

Please can I ask you all some advice on selling on Vinted? I’ve never done it before, but have a ton of clothes and some beauty stuff to shift.

On the beauty side, I have lots of perfumes from a liberty edit and the beauty drop that I will just never wear. I’m not bothered about getting loads of money for them, I’d just like not to bin them.

If I stick them all on as one listing (maybe 8-12 vials in total) is that likely to sell? I would individually photograph each one so people can see how much is left in each - some I have tried a few times before definitely deciding “no” and some I’ve literally sprayed once and knew it wasn’t for me.

This may have been said already but the only option for condition is BNWT so anything that's been used isn't saleable.

This is my theory, they are still selling gwp’s from last year, I reckon it could be a few trucks Smile
