If you had £100 to spend on comfy workwear…?

A wonderful friend has given me £100 to spend on comfy workwear! I need to update my look and build a bit of confidence …

i work in an office and usually have a uniform of black trousers and cotton tops, but I need a new pair of (preferably elasticated waist) trousers and maybe some bright tops or something that feels a bit more on trend than my sad, deodorant stained wardrobe currently …

I am 5’5, size 12 with an apple shape so prefer long line tops. This is such a nice problem to have! Where shall I look??

Have a look at Kit and kaboodle.

Start by thoroughly examining everything (but especially the collab collections) at Uniqlo. It’s much more effective to do this online as the physical shops have too much stuff so it’s hard to assess quality. Employ a tape measure, and, where possible, scroll right down to see the clothes being worn by customers rather than models. I’d say it’s the very best place for hard wearing contemporary work wear on a budget.

Surprised there aren’t more comments here!

@MsOtisReflects well I followed your advice, and have a package on its way from Uniqlo! I focused on staples that I hope I can mix and match.

👍😂

I hope they all fit, as I know returns can be a nuisance. But the things you’ve chosen should be a good base to build on.
