Is there anything online that will help me work out what my colours are?? Not keen on paying hundreds to be draped in fabric

I just looked at the Kettlewell seasonal colours and was able to work out on the basis of that - and what colours I already know that I look good in - that I’m closest to a Light Spring.

Why can't you just try clothes on in different colours and see what suits you best?
I am probably going to get flamed but this whole "have your colours done" just seems like a whole load of bollocks to me. Surely something suits you or it doesn't! Surely your opinion matters more than some set colour formula.
Some colours look better on some people than others - don't you already know from owning clothes in certain colours and seeing how it looks? why do you need to fork out money to be able to see what suits you?
I know that red looks awful on me, and autumny colours suit me. Don't need anyone else to tell me that?! I also like pink, and that suits me too! Also don't need someone to tell me that - and I'm sure that won't be on my colour "palette".

I honestly just think it's all a huge money making scheme.

Happy to be enlightened!

I also have been declared a soft summer by ChatGPT, along with pretty much everyone else I know that’s tried doing it that way. So I’m not entirely convinced it knows what it’s doing 😂

I just did a chatgbt and its given me a combined palette of soft autumn and the soft summer with make-up and outfit suggestions. It also gave me some hair colour tone suggestions for summer and winter.

I was a soft spring and my friend was deep autumn.

I tried an app, wasn't convinced by the answer so took another photo and got the opposite answer. I think anything that relies on a photo - ChatGPT/an app/any online service will be just as unreliable, your colouring looks completely different in different photos

It’s mainly because I’ve always avoided pink - but recently got a Vinted top that I thought was quite muted but in fact is a bright candy pink. Every time I wear it people are so complimentary!!! So I obviously can’t be trusted myself and am wondering what other colours are out there that I should be trying.

And I fucking HATE shopping so the idea of NOT having to try loads of stuff on but just being able to order something I know will suit me is very appealing.

That is the actual dream though isn't it, being able to order something you think will suit you and it looks perfect!
Just do the chat GPT thing then, or you can also do these online personal stylist things where a stylist / personal shopper picks you outfits based on your appearance, body shape, preferences etc. so you could put a preference on of trying out certain colour palettes.

Though tbf I wouldn't trust me, I just wear the same boring comfy stuff all the time and I am not stylish at all 😂 black leggings grey hoodie today, which is about standard!

I have a friend who is quite stylish and I once got her to suggest some stuff for me, and I hated all of it! Even if it did look good, it wasn't stuff i felt comfortable wearing. So yeah maybe I'm a bit biased!

I have used colorwise.me and also I asked ChatGPT. One said I was a winter and one a summer.

If you know one colour that does suit you chatgbt can suggest other colours in the same range
