Sustainable razor that’s not a safety razor

I’m looking for a razor for general stuff (legs etc) that has:

  • Multiple blades
  • No subscription model
  • Pivoting head
  • No plastic/disposable parts

I like the Estrid ones but they are not plastic free or recyclable, and I hate that you’re attached to a subscription - although if there’s one that fits the bill I might subscribe.

People recommend safety razors, I just find them too bulky and not as smooth shave. Any recommendations?

What blades are you using with your safety razor?
The weight/size of the razor matters but it's the blade that does the hard work.
I use Feather blades. I bought an Edwin Jagger woman's razor because it's smaller than their standard and more akin to a disposable razor size (but heavier).

Thank you! I just can't get over the handling of a weighty safety razor - but thank you for the suggestion, I look into it.

The Leaf looks amazing, but sooo pricey!!

Anyone use FFS and successfully manages to recycle the heads through their own service??
