I am after an everyday lipstick - I’m trying to make myself look a little more presentable as I have aged off a cliff this year and feel quite drab. I wear lipstick rarely and have a very old red Chanel lipstick that I bust out at Christmas ! I want a mid pink, that stays on, not glossy but not aging ‘grown up’ lipstick that will last the day. Is this achievable? Any brand recommendations? Thank you!
ps. Not at all bothered about price for the right one as it’s such a rare treat

yes - I followed the instructions on her website re interchanging the bullets and it worked fine . I have pasted the steps below:

How To Refill/Interchange Your Rouge Experience1. Remove the lid of your Refillable Lipstick.

  1. Hold the Refillable Lipstick in one hand by the middle ring. Using your other hand, firmly grip the base of the Refillable Lipstick. Firmly pull the base away, removing the Refill.
  2. Take your new Rouge Experience Refill, holding by the middle ring, remove its aluminium over-cap gently, making sure not to twist the bullet up.
  3. Insert your new Refill into your Refillable Lipstick... wait till you hear the click!
  4. Store your Refills with their aluminium over-cap, ready for their next use.

Try 'Faux' by Mac.

Mac have discontinued Faux and quite a few of their other popular lipsticks, no idea why.

Clinique's Black Honey and they have a warmer nude shade now called Nude Honey.

I don't know if you have Rom&nd there, but their Glasting Melting Balm is pretty similar to Glossier's Ultralip.

Mac Mehr is my favourite

You should have some fun with the Virtual Try On option for Gucci lipsticks. It’s brilliantly accurate, and the lipsticks actually do their job, (I love mine) in addition to being irresistible artefacts:

That’s my entertainment sorted for the evening!

Hi. For longevity without that aging "grown-up" look you're trying to avoid, formulas with silicones like dimethicone and film-forming polymers will help the color stick around without being overly drying or stiff. Ingredient-wise, look for lipsticks with hydrating components like hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, or plant oils so your lips don't feel stripped by the end of the day. Avoid anything with a lot of wax high up in the ingredient list if you want it to stay put, as waxy formulas tend to slide around and fade faster. A good trick is also prepping your lips with a thin layer of balm, letting it absorb, then blotting before applying the lipstick so it has a smooth base to grip onto without making the color slip. Hope this helps!

Lisa Eldridge here too. I have 'love of my life's. And I do love that it's not drying like so many seem to be.
