Two outfits, one with a blue & white/cream Delft connection?

Can you help me find a couple of dresses/outfits with quite specific criteria? I am in my mid-fifties, a size 20 (can be a 22 or even an 18 depending on the make/fit). I'm looking for two outfits for the same event: one for the day and another for the evening.

For the day event, I am open to ideas, I love bright colours and patterns. If it's relevant, I will be in a wheelchair during the day for a fairly relaxed, low-key group activity with around 30-40 people. However, for the evening, I definitely would like something blue and white, or blue and cream, and, in an ideal world, something Delft-inspired. The evening starts with a fine-dining group dinner. I will only use my wheelchair for transit to and from the event after the dinner and will be seated in the allocated seating for this.

For both outfits, I would like them to be as summery and thin as possible (it's likely to be hot where I'm going), and as I use a wheelchair, my clothes need to be comfortable for, and look good, sitting down - I don't like anything restrictive around my shoulders or stomach. I don't mind sleeveless for the right outfit, but my preference is for mid-length or short-sleeves, as I'm a bit bingo-wingish these days. I am fairly proportioned, but I do have a big stomach, so I would like to avoid anything very fitted or gathered over the waist.

I don't want to spend a fortune; it's not a particularly lavish occasion, but past experience tells me there'll be a whiff of the Hyacinths there, and a mix of European (and very glamourous beautiful) people, and I don't want to look like I popped into Primark for my frock. There'll be lots of photographs which will appear on a website after the event, and I already know that we'll be seated in a prominent position for the evening event.

Thanks to anyone who can give me some inspiration - and given my desire for a Delft nod, bonus points if you can work out what we're going to!

This print came to mind immediately, there are other dress styles too Giant Willow Blue Obi Dress – One Hundred Stars https://share.google/Pqq8qY2SYYqeloADA
Definitely lightweight but it might crease a bit from sitting.
No idea what the event is, but hope you have a fab time!

I was going to suggest exactly the same print- the one hundred stars giant willow blue print. I’ve got it in the “string dress” style which I think would be perfect for your requirements- except it’s not available on their website right now. They will probably bring it back as they revive the summer collection though, as it’s been around for a couple of seasons I think.

This is the shape in a different fabric https://onehundredstars.co.uk/products/susani-blue-string-dress

Not seen any of these in real life and didn’t check fabrics. There were lots of tile prints around last summer, but mostly out of stock now.

I saw the Boden one and thought it looked nice but it depends if OP wants to give any money to a fox hunting Tory boy or not.

I probably should have said in my original post, no Boden, Temu or Shein!

Are any of the others anywhere near the right tracks?

At least one Shein dress also showed up on other sites.

I do like the Evans one and quite like the idea of crocheting a lightweight cardigan to go with it.
