Oskia Bath Oil - yes or no?

I love bath oils and have smelled this one but yikes the price has made me seriously reconsider. Maybe there is a good dupe someone could recommend to me? Maybe it’s worth it?

I was given some and liked it but not £££ much.

faithfultoGeorgeMichael · 14/02/2026 07:13

sorry! It was Olverum Bath Oil I was given!

User253853 · 14/02/2026 07:23

It’s £65 for a tiny bottle so if you have the sort of money to spend £65 on oil then that’s your choice. But it doesn’t do anything other than leave a thin layer of oil on you. So in that respect it’s no better than any other cheaper bath oil

I have money set aside for a treat. Of course I know I could buy something cheap from Tesco that might do the same job.

You're very defensive about it which is very odd. If you like it and can afford it then it's worth it to you. Others might not agree.

LucyLoo1972 · 16/02/2026 04:04

what about soemthing in-between price wise - like Neom or Rituals - they both do nice things

Wildrobin · 16/02/2026 04:56

I think it's a lovely oil and like their moon salts even more . Both definitely a really luxurious treat imo

TheChosenTwo · 16/02/2026 05:26

I got a big bottle as a birthday gift from space nk, I really didn’t like it and gave it to a friend - the main thing I didn’t like was the smell but that’s so subjective! I also just realised I don’t like bath oils in general so I’m really not the target audience. I’ve also been sent some aromatherapy associates ones in the past, like the smell more but not the bath experience.

Anndalouzier · 16/02/2026 05:27

I think it's incredible

DameDoom · 16/02/2026 16:14

Olverum is my all time favourite luxury bath product. I totally disagree that it leaves a film on the tub. I haven’t found one that comes anywhere close to its quality, including Aromatherapy Associates. The baths salts are fabulous too. You only need half a capful (at most) for a full bath. I find it so relaxing. It is really expensive but worth every single penny - it lasts ages.

i ask for this every Christmas. It’s a proper treat. I don’t think it can be duped.

Pineneedlesincarpet · 16/02/2026 16:16

Agree. Olverum is the GOAT. love it. Wish I had more of it.

I didn’t like the smell of the moon salts but some of the Neals Yard don’t smell that nice in the container but lovey in the bath!

The Olverum bath salts? Do they smell the same as the bath oil? I saw some reviews saying the body oil and bath oil didn’t smell the same.

It is good. I’ve had it a couple of times.

I have tried had them both in the past. I prefer the luxury of Neom over Rituals but I prefer to use their essential oil range in the bath without the carrier oil. I do need to add a Tonka bean one to my list though.
