Trousers that don't go baggy at the knee?

I was well advised about the best leggings to buy and am now the proud owner of some Spanx!
My next mission is to find some trousers, preferably slight boot cut, which will not go baggy at the knee. Maybe crepe? Don't mind paying a premium for the best.
If anyone can help I'd be very grateful!

Why would trousers ‘go baggy at the knee’? Surely that would only happen if they don’t fit properly and are being stretched over your legs?

These are described as bootcut:

Depends on your preferred fabric but the Halara work trousers have a lot of stretch so keep their shape (and very comfortable, deep pockets, lots of colours).

My M&S Jersey boot cuts go baggy after one wear! I have slim legs but once I've been sitting for a while the bagginess is very noticeable and doesn't return to shape until I wash them again. Ok suppose I need to find out what type of material would be best.
Thank you both, I'll have a good look at this you've mentioned.

There’s your answer - you want trousers that aren’t made of any sort of jersey material. (Unless they’re so wide that they skim far away from your legs.)

Look for tailored trousers. Like those I’ve linked above. I can’t think of a (mainstream, non-athleisure) brand that doesn’t do them. The better the fabric (weighty)and cut (generous) the more likely they are to retain their shape for years.

Thanks for that guidance. I love the Cos trousers - they're way too wide for me but I have taken note of the material content and will begin searching!

(Why aren’t all OPs as cheerfully receptive as you, @Starlightwarrior? 😄)

Well you've set me on the right track which is exactly what I'd hoped for - thanks again Smile
