Anyone had experience with hair toppers? Come this way ...

I have very pronounced widow peaks which means wearing my hair up presents a problem as the lack of hair at each side of my hair is unattractive. I see that "hair toppers" are available, small wigs of fringes and side bits. Ranging from @£20 to £50+ for human hair.

I've found a hair consultant who can help me find a bespoke piece (ie matching my hair colour) but the prices quoted for the hair pieces are way, way more than online.

Any thoughts / advice?

A friend of mine has a bespoke one. It wasn’t cheap but it’s indistinguishable from her own hair.

I freakin’ love ‘ em OP! You can’t see the difference at all! I only buy cheapo ones off Amazon, last about 6mths.

Complete and utter game changer for my thin fine hair!

I’ve attached 2 recent ones I bought. I bought the real hair one but it was awful, too thin so sent it back and was refunded.

So ended up buying the one I’d bought 3 times before. Sadly out of stock now.

If you to buy one make sure you spray with dry shampoo first to get rid of sheen. Then literally just plonk it in your head. I’ve worn it on ships in the wind, hiking and even in the Spa.
