Last a lifetime made in England go for it!

Blundstones! They’re waterproof and tough. Not British made though, if that’s an important consideration for you.

The boots linked by the OP are not made in England, they're made overseas (as per the Lanx website under 'craftmanship').

Not all Lanx boots are made in the UK, so if that's a consideration for the OP, it's worth checking the full description of each pair.

I bought some Lanx shoes and the sole started coming away after a couple of wears. I contacted them and they couldn't care less. I was pretty shocked as I assumed I was buying a quality product / service but I think it's just good advertising.

That's pretty ropey. I may just have a browse through a few outdoor/equestrian sites for some cheaper ones

I agree with SummerHolidaysAreHere. My son bought a pair of boots and the back of the heel collapsed. We went back and they said it was the way he was wearing them. It hadn't happened on any other pair of his shoes. I agree, they are good at marketing.
