Mother of the bride help!

I need a suitable (winter) mother of the bride outfit….but the problem is, I hate wearing dresses!

I do love a nice jumpsuit, but obviously needs to be dressy enough for the occasion…I’m not huge but I hate my belly so want something flattering/not tight over that area.

Any ideas for great places to look? Budget about £300 so some of the specialised MOB shops are over that…have looked at Coast, Karen Millen, phase eight but nothing grabbing me.

I follow Snooty Frox on Instagram and if I ever have a reason to buy a MoB outfit, I shall take a trip to Harrogate to their shop.

They do appointmemts and have lovely choices.

If you add them on Instagram first - you can see if you agree

I’ll have a look thank you - I think that might be a page I have seen with a lovely jumpsuit but had sold out (they may have more coming once the sales are over I guess)

Unfortunately their MOB outfits are mainly £650 and over 🥹

Maybe Lavish Alice? Hobbs?

Had a look at those thanks. Some very nice ones suitable for a cocktail party but nothing that’s grabbing me for a mother of the bride outfit.

Nancy Mac (although they have changed name now) do fab jumpsuits.

We (shopping for a relative) got lucky in a good dress agency for MOB, managed to get a designer brand dress for about ÂŁ150. Because they had such a mix of brands it got us looking at things we'd never have chosen online.

Oh blimey, I think you might’ve nailed it!

I’m not making any rash decisions but they do have that feel of something a bit different.

I just keep looking at mother of the bride websites and have seen the outfits some of my friends have worn to their DC’s weddings…they looked “the part” but just look so matronly and feel too old for me (even though technically I am old enough to wear them)
