Long raincoat like Sweaty Betty Motion Parka

…but less sweaty? Is there such a thing?

I’m thinking of selling mine because I don’t love it. It ticks a lot of boxes (utterly waterproof, not noisy, people compliment me on it so I assume it looks good) but it’s so sweaty I avoid using it in anything but the coldest weather.

It also fits oddly, massive baggy arms and a rigid panel at the throat which pokes my lipstick even when unfastened so needs constant cleaning. https://www.sweatybetty.com/shop/tops/jackets/motion-waterproof-longline-parka-SB10393_NoriGreen.html

I see Protected Species mentioned a lot but they don’t seem to do a long coat.

The Rains Longest coat looks great but I’ve heard mixed reviews about Rains. https://www.uk.rains.com/products/bold-longest-jacket-female?variant=57240276074883

Ideally I’d like a deep, warm colour (green, rust, mustard, brown).

They look great, though I think that fit and flare style is possibly a bit feminine for me. It’s nice to see raincoats that don’t make you look like you’re going hill
climbing!

Barbour? I have a long quilted Barbour coat which ticks your boxes.

I’ve just had a look at the website, and there are some great ones. The Bronagh is fab.

Also, have a look at Ilse Jacobson. I’ve got two, and they’re brilliant.

Great, is that the Barbour Bronagh?
Will have a look at IJ too.
