DH bought me a gorge bracelet from MV for Christmas. It’s ’silver vermeil’. I know I’m allergic to nickel, it brings me out in a bad rash quickly. I’ve had several MV pieces that have been fine. This bracelet has my wrist and hand shredded! It’s awful, I’ve persevered but I can’t wear it. I’ve got hydrocortisone cream to calm it down and it’s healing but I definitely can’t wear it. Really sad as I love the bracelet and the brand in general but has quality gone down - is there more nickel in pieces now?
I have several other silver pieces by a couple of other brands including Pandora that haven’t caused me issues. And two silver MV necklace that are fine!
Grr. Any experiences or advice on wearing silver jewellery that isn’t ££££?
