Has anyone bought one of those silver towels advertised on facebook?

Ive been flooded with adverts (Blissal, Alorin, etc) recently for a long washcloth/towel with silver threads which is supposed to get rid of lots of dead skin. I have been suffering with a few spots on my back recently so I wondered if this might help but wary in case its a facebook scam.

Any recommendations or reviews?

Thanks

I haven’t heard of these, is the silver supposed to exfoliate more (like a Brillo pad??) or kill bacteria? I’ve got slightly spotty shoulders at the mo so interested to know if it could help

I got an amazing Japanese one years ago. It was made with seaweed fibre. Still searching for a new one.

I think the idea is that a standard loofah / bath puff etc is a breeding ground for bacteria and means that you can't get your back really clean. Whereas the silver cloth remains free of bacteria.

not a great start so far- I had an email to say it would be delivered on 5th February and theres no sign of it as yet. The order tracking hasn’t updated since then so I’ve emailed them.

I've had the same advert pop up every single day for two weeks now "Sorry to all those who bought full price yesterday! Our sale starts today!"

The crapness of this repeated advert is putting me off now, though I'm keen to hear how you find them.

Are there any updates from people who have bought them?

Are you all soft & well exfoliated?

Acunningruse · 24/02/2026 10:00

Unfortunately not @rockstarshoes! Im not sure if I am just using it incorrectly, or if its a massive scam but…meh. It’s very long so I just feel like Im wafting a wet slimy rag around me. I don’t find it exfoliating and also because you have to use a liquid body wash, I don’t feel as clean as when I use bar soap. I stupidly bought 3 Hmmso the other 2 have gone on vinted.

I love mine .
You need to pull it taut to scrub your back .
If you don’t like shower gel just lather it up with soap .
It’s far better and easier to use than my previous Korean version.

MirrorMirror1247 · 24/02/2026 12:26

I bought the Blissal one, as I have quite a lot of spots on my back I wouldn't mind getting shot of!

I can definitely feel the exfoliation, but I'm not sure it's done much for the spots. I've had it around a month but admittedly I don't use it every time. Maybe I need some kind of medicated shower gel.

I use glycolic acid toner from the ordinary on my back and tops of arms anywhere spotty or bumpy
