What would you do with a pristine mulberry Bayswater?

I got a mulberry Bayswater in early 2009 which has been kept in pristine condition. It’s in its dust bag etc, am pretty sure the receipt is around too. I’m not sure if I will go back to using it - I have 2 young children so I don’t want to wreck it. Would you save this on the off chance one of your children want it in the future? Is it worth selling it? Just came across it in storage a few days ago and have been thinking about it, it’s moved house with me 7 times and not really been used it that time which seems wild.

I have a brand new one in dust bag with matching purse and cosmetic bag, put it on Vinted and only offer I got was £100 for the lot, I’m keeping it all on the off chance my teen daughter may want it when she’s older.
I was surprised as it’s not a strange colour so I thought I’d get £300 maybe for it all

Vinted isn't really the place to sell designer stuff. People are looking for a bargain and even with tags etc would probably assume it’s fake.

Use Vestiare or another designer reseller.

They are a work type bag rather than leisure, do you work.

Use it or sell it - daughters unlikely to be interested in it - different if it was a Hermes birkin!

Use it! I have a fairly old Alexa and I use it as a lovely big everyday bag that I can carry around my shit in, and also my laptop for work. It also gets better looking the older it gets. Life is too short to keep things for best.

Just to let you know if you decide to sell OP - I sold all my mulberry’s last year after not using for ages. A pristine large Anthony, a pristine Bayswater and a lightly used large Anthony.

I got £230 & £220 for the pristine ones and £150 for the lightly used one.

They are not really fashionable any more and you don’t get much for them. My dd didn’t want them 😂

Just come back to all these comments. To clear some stuff up:

I guess am clinging on to some sentimental value, we grew up not very well off and this was a big gift when I was 18. I am a mid earner now so though the bag itself is completely affordable, I guess deep down I’m clinging on to the sentimental value.

It’s not really to my taste - I was in my office wear era circa 2009. Though I primarily work in an office now, I am in the armed forces so couldn’t use it for work. I am planning a career change though so perhaps it’s time will come again!

I considered my girls in the decision as I’ve had a few bits from my own mum that I’ve loved. Nothing hugely valuable but loved the fact she had worn it before me. I get that my kids may be completely uninterested though and am prepared for that, it’s not an issue.

Thanks to those who have suggested where to sell it, I’ll take a look!
