Recommendation for hair straighteners please!

Had the original GHDs (which I loved) & then been using Cloud 9 for the past 5 years but they seem to be dying (switch themselves off mid-use). Any recommendations on straighteners to get now? Are Cloud 9s still about the best (closest to original GHDs) or anything better now around? TIA

I love my Diva wide plate ones, they’ve lasted for years and straighten my thick frizzy hair so well!!

I’ve used so many over the years (including cloud nine) and I always go back to my Ghd platinum

My cloud 9 touch did the same as yours and started to switch themselves off. I’ve got a new pair of cloud 9s - not the touch ones - and they are amazing.

Bought some cheap Remington argan oil ones as my GHD'S were on their way out - they are brilliant !

Seconding the cheap Remington ones - bought to replace dead GHDs as a temporary measure while I researched which expensive ones to invest in . . . and they were so good, I didn’t buy any others!

Cloud 9 all the way for me, much prefer them to GHDs. I have the touch and the wide, the touch play up a little these days but they are 10 yrs old and well used. The wide are great, when my touch dies I’ll be buying a regular cloud 9 to replace (rather than another touch).

I also use Diva wide plates, I have extremely curly hair and these are the best ones I’ve tried in a while.

Diva Pro. I much prefer them over GHD
