Korean Brands- Laneige- talk to me?

Late to the party on this one but is there anything any different about them?

I was looking at the lip masks and an overnight eye mask - but what's so great compared to other brands with similar ingredients? eg Clinique Moisture Surge (I use the overnight mask) and have had the moisturisers.

I love Korean skin care! I’m in my 40s and started using it and it’s cleared up my hyper pigmentation and my skin glows.

I used chatGPT to work out what was good for my age and type of skin and went from there. Brands I have are:

Beauty of Joseon
Anya
hada labo face masks
laneige.

I also use The Ordinary Volufiline.

I also bought a trial box from Lengbox where a lovely lady puts together a box for you based on your skin type and tells you how to use it. You have to commit to the 5 or 7 step routine to see results with Korean skin care but it’s worth it. There are other brands too and they’re in Superdrug and Boots.

I also like Aldi Le Mer dupes.

I have no experience of the Clinique moisture surge, but OMG, the Laneige overnight eye mask!! I'm in my 60's. I'm 3/4 through my first tub and just ordered another plus two of the lip mask. I do use a lot of Korean skin care products, plus some Aldi dupes. The Aldi skin and eye zone skin primers are top class.

Boots currently has a sale on Laneige products.

Tell me a bit more? I have fairly lined eyelids due to fighting eczema off and on and have to be careful what I use. I've ordered a very weak Medic8 retinol that I'm going to try but I'd also like something plumping and non-irritating to give a bit of a boost.(I'm around your age.)

John Lewis do Lanieige and are price matching Boots, DD spent over a year in Korea and the difference is her skin is amazing. I know she uses the Laniege masks.

@Gremlings Before going to bed, I remove make-up etc with a cream cleanser then double cleanse with Round Lab 1025 Dokdo cleanser, rinsing off with water.

I use the Laneige eye mask from under the eyebrow all round the eye to the bottom of the eye socket. Next morning that entire area feels softer, plumper and, dare I say it, even less puffy under eyes.
I didn't find it irritating to either skin or eye.
