Any good ones about ? Am much short of leg.

I had some but when I went to wear them DH said he thought they were just lounging around trousers to which I took that they weren't exactly flattering ! Sigh...

I've just got a great length pair from Matalan of all places! I'm 5'3" and they're 29" leg - perfect!

PestoMonster · 13/06/2008 19:08

I tend to get mine from Next directory, in their petites range.

wheelybug · 13/06/2008 19:11

5'3" - thats tall . I am 5'0". Will take a look though. Thanks. Pesto - I do tend to find next petite a bit long (sigh) but will have a squizz.

Oh, and I'm an official (5ft 1") short-arse but just got a lovely white pair from M&S in their Short length. Just right...

PestoMonster · 13/06/2008 19:20

Actually Wheelybug, even with the Petites range I usually have to have get stuff taken up. They must have increased their lengths, as I never used to have to do this.

wheelybug · 13/06/2008 19:24

Its a conspiracy by tall people I reckon...

Tallis - have just spotted 2 pairs on M&S - might just have to order them and see....

I saw some lovely linen trousers in Sainsburys Savacentre yesterday and I think also in the petite range.

wheelybug · 13/06/2008 19:28

Darn - no Sainsburys nearby...

M&S do linen mix ones for £15, or pure linen for £35ish. and their short is for a 27 inch leg i think!

ASDA do a petite range...got some there for a function recently (am pregnant and didn't want to spend loads) for £9.

finallydoneit · 13/06/2008 19:36

primani?

Blondilocks · 13/06/2008 20:28

I just take them up as short now seems to be a 32 inch leg. It's really easy with the wonderweb iron-on stuff!

Principles Petite range have some really nice ones in at the moment.

geordieminx · 13/06/2008 20:41

I got a couple of pairs from Primark - I think they were supposed to be cropped bt fit my 29 inchers perfectly as I mainly wear with flats.

Other than that dotty p's is usually quite good.

piratecat · 13/06/2008 20:43

i have tried on every pair of linen trousers in devon. I like how they look on other (prob slimmer) people, but they do not look nice on me.

I am 5ft 3, and had visions of lokoing ultra cool, in these swishy botomed trews, but alas it was my bottom that was doing all the swishing.

but thats cos a am a fat arse.

finallydoneit · 13/06/2008 21:27

my arse has its own postcode and primani look ok on me

scaryteacher · 15/06/2008 21:44

I get mine online from Penny Plain; they do a 29" length which is great as I am 5'3, and I have also bought from Lands End, and they will hem them for free to the length you want. With Lands End you can also return things at any time if you don't like them/are unhappy with them.
