Good quality, white, round neck, holy grail T shirt?

I’ve spent my adult life trying to find the right basic white t with a round neck.

Ones I have in my wardrobe are either too thin, the neck line is too high, or low, or not a nice fit. A lot seem to be too baggy on the body.

Is there a holy grail of a white T?

I love Uniqlo

I like Cos t shirts. They do a couple of different white ones. Some are a boxier fit than others but all are thick and wash well.

Also agree with Cos, they are a good thickness and just generally good quality.

Today's Telegraph fashion page, on basics, suggested COS. I also like Uniqlo, but still can't forgive them for discontinuing their Henley T. It was £15 of genius.

Agree Cos. However they are very thick so if you wear a thin cardigan over the top the arms of the t shirt will stick out a bit.

I recently bought a couple of these. Nice thick fabric quite fitted - I sized up but I am in my 60's and didn't want such a snug fit.
