Disguise roots and give colour a boost?

I can't get my hair coloured for another few weeks due to no appointments but have an event next week I need to look smart for... My hair is dark blonde with a bit of grey, usually highlighted but my roots are quite big at the moment.

Can anyone recommend a product to make the colour look better and disguise the roots a bit? Maybe a tinted shampoo?

This or there are lots other powder root coverage like colour wow but you can get other cheaper ones.

I’ve used the dark one so I can’t say if the lighter ones cover well but I will say they make your hair feel shite, as if you have a load of cheap hairspray in, and the dark ones transfer too if you touch your hair.

Colour wow powder is amazing! I used it when I was my friends bridesmaid (my hairdresser was sick last minute!) and you can’t tell at all on the pictures.

The spray works but it’s so messy and if you touch your hair it smudges everywhere. The powder you have more control with, it lasts ages and only transfers if you properly rub it.

Thanks yeah I don't think I'd like that. I'll try the powder
