Does any else enjoy plucking chin hairs and/or popping zits ?

Things have really come full circle. From being crippling insecure about chin hairs to enjoy plucking them. Maybe it's my way of coping but I really enjoy having the opportunities to pluck chin hairs. In my car, it has become a routine. I'm also getting acne and I love popping pimples.

Maybe I'm just weird. Maybe I'm coping. But that's the current situation. Does anyone else relate ?

You need to get over to Sporner Corner - that's where you'll find your people.

Can’t resist popping a spot. I’ll even offer to squeeze other family members here. They are horrified! 😂

Climbingrosexx · 16/01/2026 16:10

I'd rather not have hairs to pluck but its definitely satisfying to get them out 😂

Mizztikle · 16/01/2026 16:15

yes to plucking hairs! if I feel one on my chin when I'm out it bothers me all day until I get home to my tweezers, its so satisfying.

SnugglyJumpersMakeItBetter · 16/01/2026 16:25

Yes to both, but there's nothing worse than snapping a hair you're trying to pluck or aggravating a spot that just flatly refuses to pop.

HeartandSeoul · 16/01/2026 16:35

I love it 🥰! As the first poster said, come on over to Sporner Corner….we are your people 😁.

ApocalypseNowt · 16/01/2026 16:36

Yes! Join us in Sporner Corner! There's a wonderful thread in there about poster's favourite Sporner moment.

Ooh yes! I often end up making a spot or blackhead far more noticeable being obsessive about gouging it out - break the skin, cause an infection... Got it!!

As for chin hairs... I have to get those too with my nails. The satisfaction of the pluck followed by holding it at arms length against a light background because your eyesight is failing, but you have to make sure you got the bugger.

The slight annoyance in the realisation that your chin hairs are now thick grey whiskers 😭😂

teacoffeeorpassthegin · 16/01/2026 16:54

I was thinking the other day I’d like a right big spot so I can try pimple patches! I can waste hours looking at pimple patch videos 🤦🏼‍♀️.

i had spots for so many years I’m now gutted they have stopped 🤣

I can't believe what I found.

Handbag tweezers. Welcome to the club.

I love finding a quiet spot in supermarket carpark to pluck my chin and pluck the grey hairs from my head. Time often goes far too quickly though and unfortunately I have to get back to work!

shellyleppard · 16/01/2026 23:04

@StrawberryJangle i get the thick white ones.. almost man beard texture!! Or really thin ones that sprout in weird places. Then I don't get anything for weeks....and next day I'm plucking again!!! Grrr

CatsSleepFatandWalkThin · 16/01/2026 23:08

I had a work meeting about 2 months ago and I’m still thinking about the giant blackhead on the cheek of one of the participants. So yes, I love squeezing spots. I’m quite gutted my kids weren’t spotty teens.

I’d enjoy a chin hair, but haven’t had any yet.

notthatoldchestnut · 16/01/2026 23:23

I bloody Iove it! My mum had a hair on her chin that she saves for me 😁😁. My kids are a few years away from teenage spots, but I enjoy cleaning out their ears with my ear picker tool. My daughter had a black glob the size of a pea once that we had to have extracted!
