Under eye concealer and older skin

Hello everyone

Can anyone help me with under-eye shadows? I have classic Mediterranean skin in that I haven't got too many lines (for my 50-odd years) but have got dark under eye shadows and can look sallow. Now that my skin is ageing, I'm starting to get lines under my eyes and my concealer is sinking into them. It looks horrible. I can't not use concealer because then I look like a panda.

I have been using Benefit Boing, which is good for coverage but can look cakey, or Glossier balm concealer, which gives a nice highlight but not much coverage. Do I need to change my concealer? Or use a primer? Any advice or recommended concealers or primers?

Thank you x

Out a good eye cream under your eyes and let it soak in for a few minutes. Doesn't have to be expensive, just hydrating. You need a colour correcting eye brightener, Catrice and Revolution do good but inexpensive ones. Pay the smallest amount on with a finger, letting the warmth of your finger help.blend it. Scrunched your face to see if it creases. If it does, remove excess with the tip of a brush or tip of a damp sponge. If necessary, add the tiniest bit of concealed and repeat the scrunching and excess removing process. With the Catrice one, I rarely use concealer. Peach coloured colour corrector can also be used. Try not to as powder or use the tiniest bit on a small, soft brush. The D'alba first serum spray over powder helps but beware of cheap dupes, get it on order from Superdrug or from a proper supplier.

Snail mucin sounds vile but works wonder!
