Saw this skirt in Grazia the other day and thought it looked good. It’s on sale too so a bargain.

added some fleece lined tights and polka dot ones to my basket.

I would team this with a fine knit black Zara jumper (fitted) but should I get this too (also in Grazia!)

I got some nice ankle boots from Tu a few years ago. A pair in black and pair in brown. Granted they were most definitely leather but they suited me.

I don't mind a bit of Tu every now and again, but none of these linked items are nice, and they are certainly not Spring!

Dunno. That’s a lot of plastic to my eye: plastic skirt, plastic boots, even the jumper is mostly plastic. There are definitely good items at Tu, but those would not be my edit.

I don’t really need anything. My budget is quite flexible, I can stretch to more expensive items.

Yes that was harsh. Leather is so much nicer. The TU boots wouldn’t have much “give” and they’d hurt my feet and ankles

Well, I don't know what Grazia's playing at! Maybe Tu's press relations person stole Grazia's fashion editor's boyfriend or something - there's got to be a reason they picked these monstrosities!

Almost everything in Tu New In is better than that ... it's a very low bar, mind.

An update if anyone is interested.

I bought in store some dark wash barrel leg jeans (bought a few other pairs to try on at home), disappointed they lacked the stretch that my usual Tu jeans have so I’m technically a bigger size.

My order of the items in the OP most items will be returned. I might keep the jumper.
