Help me find a dress for important work event!

Hey peeps!

I have to attend a big work conference next week and everything I’ve tried on hasn’t looked right 😭

I work in a fairly casual industry so I don’t need a suit or anything mega professional, but would like to look put together and tend to prefer a more vintage style.

I’m not tall (5ft2) short in the body and curvy (boobs, mum tum..) but my legs are fairly decent, so don’t mind showing them.. Dress size 14 (sometimes 16) depending on the shop/fit.

I’ve been trying to find a mini / above knee dress, but don’t like balloon / wide sleeves on me and can’t have anything too high neck or it looks matronly🫠

I tend to suit bold / warm colours and really not keen on florals / ditsy patterns at all. I need a bit of structure!

Ideally want a dress, but am open to trousers with a lower cut top / jacket. Very doubtful I would wear a skirt though.

I’ve recently seen this Saint & Sofia dress on someone, it’s lovely (also comes in another colourway). Or The Fold is always good if you want something classic/structured
