Trousers for shorter ladies

I have been trying to find some casual trousers that work for shorter women for ages!I literally live in skinny jeans (I know not trendy) and would like to try some different options.

looking for casual wear or smart/casual. I have tried baggier/ straight jeans but feel a bit like a rectangle 🤣 and would really like other options to jeans. I can get away with cropped trousers in the summer. Feel joggers are too casual.Im 5ft4, size 12.

any suggestions on what works?

I’m about the same height, I have some wide leg cords from M&S which I wear with Chelsea boots, both flat and heels. If you wear wide trousers you need to balance them with a fitted top that stops at or just below the waist.
