Next: FIFTEEN DAY delivery?!

I ordered a whole new outfit for an event on the 14th. I placed the order on the 4th. Didn't get any delivery updates, so checked yesterday (7th). It said tracking unavailable, but order will be delivered as expected.

I have Next Unlimited, so that part was already a lie - it's supposed to be 24 hours. It's just changed to delivery planned for the 19th! It still says tracking unavailable and will be delivered as planned. Certainly not as planned by me.

I've cancelled it. I ought to feel calmer about this - I have other clothes, and shouldn't be spending on new ones. I wanted them because I feel a bit nervous about the event, and being all box-fresh would help my confidence.

I'll get over it, but decided to post in case any other disappointed Next customers would like to vent! Also, be wary if shopping there for things you need soon 😡

Yes, everything I’ve bought since Boxing Day has had a delivery date of the 19th, I didn’t realise until after I’d placed the orders.

The same date? Wow 😯 Maybe they've had a fire or something - it would be nice if they warned you before checkout!!

Was it in the sale or full price?

The sale items I’ve purchased also said the 19th Jan but arrived at the end of Dec. Recent sale items always take longer.

Ive made 2 separate orders for full price items which have arrived next day as usual.

If you were ordering full price then that’s really bad. Maybe try re ordering it again now? If I add something to my basket now it says delivery tomorrow.

Next stock is awful. Never anything in stock.I ordered a gift 2 weeks before Xmas.

They kept saying it had been delayed. Tracking says delivery April 26🤦🏽‍♀️

I did try re-ordering my outfit, btw. It came up with delivery in 13 days.

Better than four months! Still useless.
