Fed up doing my eyebrows every day, what’s a more permanent option?

I’ve got typical ‘grew up in the 80s/90s’ overplucked brows. They look good when I use products to fill in and define them but it takes ages and sometimes I just want a no-make-up day.

I can’t really afford a professional treatment but none of the at-home products last more than a day or 2. Is there anything in between or another product I could try?

Have you considered tinting them? Schwarzkopf have an effective product which is sold in Savers and lasts for two to three weeks for me.

Have you tried any of the peel off eyebrow “tattoo” kits? They are very good. Maybeline do one for under a tenner.

Every 3 days ish. Get a shade darker than you think you need and put it on quite thick for a couple of hours.

I do like the Maybelline one but I was hoping for something that lasted a bit longer. Tints and dyes dont really work because they just colour the hair thats there which isn’t much! I didn’t find Rapidbrow made much difference.

I’ve been having semi-permanent brows now for 10/11 years. Get them topped up between 12/18 months.

i do still tint them as it doesn’t change the hair colour- the issue with tint is it can only colour what is there so doesn’t can change the shape etc.

semi-permanent means I don’t need to do anything with them on a daily basis. Semi-permanent ranges from hair strokes to more block colour so I would do your research on people local to you and gauge it that way if that’s the route you decide on.

i was probably about a year from beginnings to research to actually getting it done.

I’m nervous about anything permanent bearing in mind the cost. Surely there must be an at home product that lasts longer than a few days - if I splash hair dye on the bathroom tiles it’s impossible to get off ever!

I’m the same. Nothing lasts more than a few days. Haven’t tried beard die though so will give that a go thanks for the suggestion pp
