Footwear either trainers or DMs.

Statement jewellery, nice shoes. Any jeans will be fine.

Which MCR t is it OP? Three Cheers, Black Parade etc?
I use a band t to dress things down so you could do a swishy maxi skirt with trainers/boots and tuck only the very middle front into the waistband, and the rest stays loose.
Or go full-on 2000s with a long sleeve t underneath, and jeans.

I know this is an old thread but thought I would report back. Took my daughter to see Florence and the machine on Sunday night. Wore my ankle grazer jeans dm boots a band tee and a casual blazer. Daughter (22) looked at me and said I looked current which I am absolutely taking as a compliment 🤣🤣

wearing similar tomorrow when I go to see the Deftones although I’ll probably wear a hoodie instead that I can tie around my waist as we are standing.

Cut off the neck and roll up the sleeves

Cut the sleeves to remove the fabric in the armpits. Cut diagonally from armpit to bottom hem of the outer sleeve. I might cut the back off as well.

If it's baggy you should be able to tie a knot in the broom bit but it does stretch the fabric. Some kind of mini skirt and leather jacket.

I have no style with my T-shirts. I just wear them with my jeans zero styling :)))) I’m sure I look dreadful but who cares I’m over 50 and on those days when I wear that that’s me being me. I don’t tuck in T-shirt or tie it as I that would highlight my chest or tummy even more.

Tbf mine range from £10 up. Still wouldn’t cut the cheap ones up cos I’m hoping they’ll be worth something when these up and coming bands hit the big time 🤣🤣

I love band tees! Last year I wore my black Arcade fire one at a festival with an animal print midi skirt and black dm’s. Or trainers/ gazelles would work either.
A bit of fake tan always makes me feel better too.

I've bought some black leggings from Amazon and they're a game changer! They flatten my bumps and lumps and have given me so much confidence 😊

I've paired my band tees with them and a pair of DM mules. When going out, I wear a denim jacket 😊

This is the look I was hoping for. I bought a satin pink skirt but when I tucked my tee in, I looked awful 😂
