Happy New Year oh wise mumsnetters
My last trip to the hairdresser cost me an eye watering amount so I’m wondering can I be brave and do it myself ? Any ideas of good brands ? Thanks in advance

I use Clairol nice’n’easy and it is great. Totally covers greys and is easy to use. I do my eyebrows at the same time with it!

I use Live XXL (urban brown) it’s excellent, I use it every few weeks, it’s great for greys and it’s never damaged my hair

I use Josh Wood, but just the basic set, no shade shots etc. it looks v natural

Garnier nutrisse here for years. The white ones at the side pop through after a few weeks though.

I’ve been using Clairol nice and easy for years. I only do my roots never the lengths and it always blends in perfectly.
