Happy new year everyone!

This thread is for sharing our full size repurchases and patting ourselves on the back for buying only what we need and want. Rather than what’s marketed and hyped, it’s the anti-offers, anti-impulse buying thread to help the low-but resolutions and stash reducers.

Post when you repurchase or buy something full sizes based on reputation and reviews. Or if there’s something you’ve finished in your stash that you would buy full size - to encourage stash reduction.

I expect this to be a slooooow thread.

@BakeOffRewatch that’s pretty restrained spending!

I’ve had (for me) a pretty good couple of low spend months. I did buy a something else in March - a 10ml of the new Fredric Malle perfume, Contra Jour. Also bought a bath oil. It’s a brand I hadn’t heard of before, C Atherley, recommended by India Knight in her Sunday Times column; it’s really lovely. But I have also sold a fair amount of stuff on ebay, so there has been definitely more out than in over the last couple of months.

I have gone for the M&S Summer Bag today. It’s great value and I’ll use enough of it to make it worth while.

And I am probably also going to go for the Harrods GWP. I am absolutely loving the FM pefume, and have already used more than half the 10ml, so am going to get a full size. The big decision then is what to get for the other £50 spend to get to the GWP minimum spend.

I bought the Cult Beauty Limited Edition advent calendar last month and I love it, so I have a few things to make my way through. I was very short on moisturiser, after I finish some Elemis minis I’ll have to start on the stuff inside the CB calendar.

Ive been neglecting skincare and beauty a bit since January, but would like to go back to good skin and daily highlighter and blush soon. The thermal spray definitely helps with hyaluronic serums.

I think I will get the M&S bag too. Once I finish the Kayali 42 from the CB calendar I will buy another too, my kids cuddle me more because I smell like a lollipop 😂

The bath oil sounds lovely @AprilLady .

Lollipop perfume sounds delicious, sounds like the kids have got the right idea @BakeOffRewatch 🤗I feel like my purchasing has been fairly restrained/mindful over the last few months - nothing at all in February (partly because I was away for a lot of it) then in March it was 2 cult beauty GWP's from vinted for £25 each, bought for the Medik8 serum that was included as I thought that was a great way to get a good quality vit c serum at a great price. Having used it for a few months now I do really like it but I think when I run out and have to consider buying full price (😱) I'll possibly revert to the Skinceuticals one - it's more expensive but will last at least twice as long as I only need a few drops, plus it is still the best for me in terms of visible results, by a whisker (not a perimenopausal chin whisker thankfully 😂). I also bought 2 giant 1 litre bottles of pantene grow strong conditioner and 1 of the matching shampoo because they were recommended by another beauty thread user and all 3 have quadruple the volume and half the price of my current rotation of living proof shampoo and christophe robin hair mask, so that was my attempt to save some money. I'm never sure about expensive hair products, my hair looks pretty much the same regardless, and I've not found my holy grail products there bar a good leave-in conditioner like Davines oi (good product, shame about the overpowering smell) I'm growing out my grey because I hate going to the hairdressers so much anyway, so I'm basically condemned to odd looking hair for a minimum of 2 years, 4/5 to get it back to current length - So sod spending a fortune on the dyed hair I'm desperate to get rid of! Then in April I bought 2 x the face the future easter bundles ( consisting of MZ bio placenta serum and a mini Oskia Barrier repair cream ) because it seemed like an amazing deal at £39.99 for about £360 "value" and google told me the serum would be a great companion to the laser treatments I'm doing - it was a bit of a risk, if I've learned anything in my years of beauty buying it's to take the term "value" lightly - Luckily I've really enjoyed using the serum so far, so that paid off, I'm even weighing up buying a 3rd edit because I wouldn't buy the £275 serum again at full price. I also bought a diptyque feu du bois candle and the neom sleep spray I love from TKMaxx, both with a decent discount, and a waft of either makes me feel joyous. So that's basically where I'm at - still could comfortably buy no skincare for 6 months at least, serum 18 months I reckon, but I've been avoiding a lot of the impulse buys (whilst clearly still a sucker for the deals)

I've just assessed and I'm actually doing pretty well. Since my last post I've bought a replacement concealer and BB cream, a jumbo Clinique TTDO cleansing balm, and the Boots SPF edit. All things I use daily. I've still barely made a dent in my stash...
