Comfy footwear that still looks trendy?

Is there such a thing? My feet are a problem. I can’t walk far without pain/burning. I have some white sketchers which are ok for summer but I need something suitable for winter. I’m going on a city break in Feb and need something that will be comfy, practical but also that I feel nice in. I’m 47 and not ready for “granny” shoes! Help!

I work on my feet all the time and have feet which are terribly prone to tendonitis/plantar fasciitis etc. For work I largely wear Esska loafers or brogues. Pricey but thick soles and super comfortable. Fit flop have some styles which are not completely hideous. I also do a lot of foot strengthening exercises- given to me by physio but easily found online which I think has made more difference than anything else.

Hoka Bondi 9 trainers are the most ridiculously comfortable things I have ever put on my feet!
for something that’s not a trainer, Fly London boots I find really comfortable. I wear the Salv ankle boots most days. I think they’re on sale in schuh at the moment.

These are great, they also have them plain without the chain. Limited stock because the sale is on but both seem to be staple stock items. I’m on my second pair and they’re so comfortable.

I like Fit Flop rally trainers or the Gabor Dublin chelsea boots are very comfortable. I am wearing my Gabor boots next week for a London trip.

I have two pairs of the Fitflop Ralley as I can just about get away with them for work. DP says they look like Keir Starmer trying to be cool though.

They’re perfectly comfortable day to day, but I’d want more cushioning for a city break.

Hoff trainers - super comfy! Love mine but I do look a bit like an Italian tourist. I'm totally at peace with that.

Fitflop have a biker boot style that’s lined inside so warm for winter and comfortable enough they don’t even need to be broken in before wearing on a big walk.

Hoff trainers are brilliant.
