For those of you who bought LED masks this year...

...are you still using them? Just wondered if it is something that ends up getting abandoned! Also - any good for DS15 who has acne or do you have to avoid it with acne? Thanks.

I’m still using mine daily - I think it’s a 3 month programme (only missed the odd day).

My partner bought me the shark one for Christmas obviously too early to see the results. My dd12 asked if she could have a go, but a quick search tells me it isn't recommended for under 18s.

The blue light is antibacterial for acne
red for reducing inflammation

They aren't recommended for under 18s and blue or purple can help with acne though

I bought one a few years ago and used it for a month...it's been sat in a drawer ever since. I'm rubbish with things like that though, I did the same with my foreo bear. I'm fine with skin care routines just not extras.

I use mine daily and I’ve had it over a year - I don’t have acne but I do get blocked pores/spots and it’s massively helped, but I do also have a fairly intensive skincare routine which has helped too

I've just ordered the CurrentBody face mask along with the one for the neck/chest area. I decided I wanted to try one after seeing how amazing my step-mum's skin is looking after using one (I don't know which brand). DH sent me a Guardian link to their best buy LED masks and this one came out top. I did some further reading to check that it looks like the right one for me so fingers crossed!
