Going to DH’s friend’s 50th dinner next month. Some of the ladies are pretty glam, fashionable and well heeled so feel I want to wear something nice, but not too ‘try hard’. Am 5’8 size 12 with good legs but no real bust to speak of. Don’t want to spend the earth - up to £100 prob. More a fan of dresses and skirts than trousers and owing to my lack of chest I try not to have anything too tight on the waist cos then I almost look pregnant as I’ve had three kids so the mum tum sticks out 🙈. However, a line or too shapeless also has the same effect! It’s a minefield and I’m currently surfing aimlessly so all suggestions welcome. And if it’s a bargain all the better!
