Just as the little says… 🙏

OP posts:

I used to buy it from QVC
Finding the shade of foundation wasn't easy , they put up some pictures but I didn't know what I should go for . They are quite forgiving as lots of shades in one (this is the baked one)
I prefer Bare Minerals as it's lighter textured
Loved the blusher
Loved the eyeshadow , used on a wet brush it was unshiftable !

Didn't like the mascara I had

I get loads of emails from them as I searched up a couple of months back .

Have a look on QVC

itsmeafterall · 28/12/2025 20:01

Have it. Love it. Every time I use it people comment and say that I'm glowing and look healthy 😂

A couple of friends have bought it too
And v happy.

I bough the palette thing with eyeshadow, hilighter and blusher. Also bought the powder foundation and kibushi brush.

If it helps im fair skinned and late 50s

FanDann · 28/12/2025 20:14

I don’t feel like I get any coverage from it really. For me, it is more like a powder than a foundation. Am I doing something wrong?

YourSnifferDogsAreShite · 28/12/2025 20:17

I really like it. I think the baked powder foundation gives the same effect as the expensive Hourglass finishing powders, but way cheaper.
I’ve been buying it in bulk about once a year from the USA; can you get it in the UK again? You could get it on QVC for a while but not in shops.

Pinkapron · 28/12/2025 23:56

I love it. It makes me look like me, but better! And it’s so light you can’t feel it there at all. I hope it’s always available.

Ellenanora7 · 29/12/2025 21:22

I've been using it for a couple of months now, I watched the videos on how to apply it after the first few times I used it because I wasn't happy with the way it looked, it looks great now and I'm only sorry I didn't discover it earlier, it's a bit pricey, I ordered from their website and I did get a discount but can't remember how much, it's so easy to apply now I'm wearing it nearly every day whereas before I had stopped wearing makeup altogether ☺️

Yes exactly how I feel too @Pinkapron

suki1964 · 29/12/2025 22:07

Another fan here

Started wearing it three years ago - baked balance and brighten which is a light coverage Then I added the double baked foundation, which I still apply with a brush - and it hides everything with one sweep - I just use it on my red oily t- zone and any obvious blemishes - which can happen on my frail skin over night, and just go over with the balance and brighten

I love that you cant feel it, that you can still see your skin, but so much brighter and even. I always get compliments on how well Im looking when I wear it

Her blushers are really highly pigmented - Ive not put a dent in one yet

I bought a couple of the palettes for travelling and they seem good quality

Its actually been going since 1997, I remember her launch on QVC

QVC sell it - inflated prices, but quick delivery and the MBG

I buy on the website - same MBG and because we are in the UK, they rarely ask for returns - just refund - but the only way to do it is to use the live chat on the site - emails tend to get "lost". I personally haven't had a problem - first delivery got lost after arriving in the UK - Money refunded within a week, and I got a partially smashed delivery another time - sent photos - got told to keep - refunded in days

Word of warning, if you sign up to the website, use a throwaway email. You get bombarded with special offers - which are great - but I mean maybe two or three a day

Chulainn · 30/12/2025 14:01

I've been thinking of trying the baked foundation but I'm useless at trying to decide what foundation colour I need. I'm fair skinned and the website says I should get porcelain but I'm worried it will be too light. I bought foundation from Sculpted by Amy using their online tool and it was too dark for my skin, even though I thought I picked the right pictures as comparison.

suki1964 · 30/12/2025 14:43

Porcelain is for the lightest of light skin

My friend is a lot lighter then me and she wears fair - she doesn't tan

I wear light, Im fair but tan easily , that's when I need medium . I did try fair but it was a tad ghost like on me

GameOfJones · 30/12/2025 14:50

I am very pale and wear porcelain, but I use fair in the summer when I have slightly more colour. I never really tan....Irish/redhead heritage.

I love her retractable kabuki brush for applying any type of powder and I really like her blusher brush. I didn't get on with the blusher I got in a set because it is so bright on me. You only need a tiny amount.

Her jelly balm tinted lip balms are absolutely brilliant. I wear them every day and have lots of different shades. They are more moisturising than a lipstick but have decent staying power for a tinted lip balm. I much, much prefer the jelly balm to other more expensive items like Clinique Black Honey.

mummabubs · 30/12/2025 15:02

I've only used the powder foundation, but like it a lot. I used the LG website colour match tool before buying and what came was way too pale, but customer services were really helpful and quick to send out a darker shade for free which is great. I like that it's not heavy but evens out my skin tone really nicely. (If I have a blemish I use liquid foundation to cover that and then Laura Gellar on top).

I also bought the retractable kabuki brush and love it.

Chulainn · 30/12/2025 15:05

Thanks @suki1964 and @GameOfJones. I'm Irish and pale. I don't tan but go lobster red in the summer. I think I'll get fair as I don't think I'm the palest of pale.

Well it was heavily featured in my algorithm over xmas! No mention of QVC. I’m quite easily “ influenced” so bought some of the baked powder foundation - It’s more like a setting powder really with highlighter - it’s nice. I don’t wear heavy foundation as have freckles.

lindyloo57 · 30/12/2025 15:55

I love it, its the only foundation that doesn't disappear from nose like a liquid foundation do, sometimes i use it alone sometimes as a setting powder over a cc or bb cream for a little more coverage.

Postslikethese · 30/12/2025 16:51

I have it and do like it but now I find it dries my skin out. Any experts have any ideas on how to overcome that?

8misskitty8 · 30/12/2025 17:00

I use the baked balance and brighten foundation. Gives a nice natural coverage. The jelly balm lipsticks are lovely and are like a lip balm texture so doesnt dry your lips out.
They have a heavier foundation if you want more coverage and also liquid concealers.
QVC often do sets as a tsv.
Amazon sell the foundation direct from laura geller but pricey.
Buying direct is cheapest and came within a week, there are often offers and money off codes etc. But you do get loads of offer emails afterwards !

You need to moistursie well before hand and let that sink in well - I usually blow my hairdryer at my face on cool - and her spackle works well keeping the moisture locked in - the hydrating one is good

I have combination skin -- oily t zone and very dry around the temples and outer chin - jaw line so I moisturise there and then cover the whole lot in the Spackle.

As I said above I use the double baked on the t zone and as a woman who has hot flushes and works in a kitchen, that stuff sticks to the face like poo to a blanket - it stays the day

Mumteedum · 30/12/2025 17:52

I got one of the kits. Can't remember the title... Tuscan something. It's nice but my skin feels thirsty with it, like it can't breathe. I've upped my moisturizer and trying a primer with it.

Thank you. I use Skin & Me and my skin looks great now. It used to be greasy but since peri, it’s gone very dry. Any make up makes my skin peel the day after.
I’ll try double moisturising and letting it settle before applying

Since meno, I have very reactive skin.

I always have had, but now its scattered

The bridge of my eyebrows for instance, in my oily t - zone - but flakes like Ive dandruff - which in a way I so Seb Dermatitis

Same as my rosy red chin - flakes

And I found every liquid makeup just crusted to these problem areas

Now I moisturise - using two tbh - a richer one where needed and just a serum where I dont , and then press the spackle on - although any primer which works with your moisturiser will be grand

For me, neither the double baked, nor the balance and brighten clumps on these areas, does not settle into the lines and folds. In the past I would do my face for a wedding - and time we reached the reception it would be scrubbed off. This stuff - for me - stays

I can only say what my skin is like and how this works for me . I put my face on today at 3pm, been out, home and cooked dinner , and now sat in front of a real fire, and whilst I am showing a bit of glow , the base is holding together and Im still not feeling that clammy film on my face which comes with liquid

wobblychristmastree · 21/01/2026 21:13

update:

I did buy a kit and I really quite like it. The double take full coverage is too orange for me (I followed their online quiz to choose). I do love the balance and brighten and the bronzer though.

i have to moisture well before to sort of stick the powder down. Is that right?

and I’m using a dab of liquid foundation to disguise some blemishes.
