What will you do with your beauty advent calendar?

I had a beautifully packaged one from Boots courtesy of my lovely best friend. It seems such a waste to just recycle it. What will you do with yours?

I had the M&S one so will keep the main box and recycle the individual boxes.

My Elemis one is lovely. I had one 2 years ago and we kept it to use it again, but we never did 🤣. So I need to force myself to recycle it!

I eventually recycled my Liberty 2019 one.

I still have a Net a Porter one from 2020, lying empty in a cupboard, I used it one year to make DD and advent calendar.

I put mine away yesterday, I now have quite a collection and can’t face chucking them. My Net a Porter ones are especially robust. They all smell lovely still. I think I might ask if charity shops want them next year as they could be used for display.

I’ll be adding my fragrance one to my collection at the end of January too!

The JL one is really solid from this year and really pretty. I’ve saved it and will use it to make a Frankenstein vac next year - either for DD or myself

Dgc use the liberty ones to play with. They make excellent garages and dinosaur houses.

I keep mine to make an advent calendar for DC the next year! Or if it’s pretty enough, display in my dressing room.

It’s beautiful and the top is well engineered. But I think I’m going to have to recycl my l’occitane advet calendar. The doors are traditional doors so once opened can’t be reopened so can only be used once. Unlike the M&S one I had a few years ago.

I had an m&s one this year it's now in the bathroom holding a variety of bath bombs, salts and bubble bars. It replaces an old m&s one from about 4 years ago that's finally succumbed to fading and steam damage

Rituals one was a single use so it's going out in the recycling .
I bought it to try out other fragrances in the range but I will keep with the Sakura, nothing else came close .

Make a memory box/ calendar for someone special. Save a couple of special photos each month and then get mini poloroids/ prints / gig ticket stubs / messages from cards etc and for 24th a ticket/ voucher for something do together next year

I had the Look Fantastic one. It was rather large. Seems a shame, but it’s in the car boot ready for the dump tomorrow.

I had the M&S one - it’s a lovely box so I was thinking I might keep all the little
boxes in it and make one of my own for someone next year.

I had the m&s one. I've gotten rid of the smaller boxes and keeping the outer box to keep unopened toiletries etc so I can dip into it as and when I need to for replacements

I has the space nk one this year. Lovely box but just don't know what to do with it really.

My massive look fantastic one went to my 4 year olds class when they asked for a "box to paint and make a house with". It's now in the playroom covered in a mix of green/brown/ blue paint 😄

Mine have all gone into the recycling bin. I did want to keep my husband's liberty one for my Frankenstein next year, but he was smashing it up when I arrived home this morning 😱 I am doing the beauty drop though with the plan on getting myself the Liberty one so I will hopefully have one next year anyway.

My M&S box is already in the recycling , trying to stop my hoarding tendencies and get rid as I can’t think of anything to put in it!

Recycling for loccitaine, kept the main box from m and s and I always put my Liberty one on the local free fb page

Last year I refilled all the drawers of my 2023 liberty and gave to my mum as her Xmas present and she then used it as a window display in the charity shop she volunteers at. This year I’ve repurposed Anthropologie as storage for the many perfume minis I’ve acquired and thinking of giving my liberty to my niece to turn into a dolls house.
