Forgiving jeans fo after Christmas bloat

Post menopausal here and feeling a tad fat and apple shaped - had very bad flu pre-Christmas and healthy eating and exercise routine went totally out the window, now Chistmas has left me feeling really bloated. I am ridiculously short of clothes and just need a few pairs of jeans/casual trousers to tide me over. Size 18 can be too tight around the tummy but size 20 can be too big in the hips/arse. Looking for straight legs/slight bootleg with a bit of stretch (maybe even an elasticated waist??). Bonus points for different leg lengths as I am a shortsarse. Thanks

I have some Snag jeans and I quite like them. I have to roll the waistband as they are quite high waisted and I am a bit short bodied. I went quite a bit smaller than their measurements suggested but they are a nice fit although a little baggy over the bum.

Also, not jeans, but these from Next are bloody excellent for apple shape and they come in Petite. Again I need to roll the waist but it's a very smooth waistband so I can easily roll it inwards and you can't tell even if you can see my waist. https://www.next.co.uk/style/su263730/n78725

Maybe you could just pick up some cheap ones on Vinted.
(I can't even look at my jeans after Christmas let alone try and squeeze into them....it's leggings and oversized jumpers for me til I've gotten back on a healthy track!😅).
