I got the Jo Maline Christmas coffret and Cult Beauty skincare edit with the bio effect in, from DH. I use the ‘Things to Get Me’ app so he has a selection to choose from and I’m never disappointed .

What did you all get? Happy? Not happy?

Very happy - DH has excelled himself and got me the Russell & Bromley black patent mary janes I’ve had my eye on all year but couldn’t justify buying, the Jellycat Space NK bag with a Space NK voucher as one has recently opened close to us, and a bottle of Chanel No. 5. He is equally thrilled with his new hiking boots and “tactical fleece”.

No DH (widow) and my parents have passed away too and my sisters live abroad and I’ve told them not to post gifts as we are visiting next year. My DD did give me a selection of jams and marmalade made by a local woman in her uni town and my son got me my requested scented candles, so pleased with those gifts. And my DD is cooking the dinner today and my son washing up!

DH gave me a beautiful tennis bracelet and an over night bag, both I had asked for. And he’s enjoying his log saw and router. 🎅🏻

I got 2 oodies and an hoodie tshirt. Lots of books.

A Zara oversized blue striped shirt, a blue with gold ribbon Oliver Bonas jumper, Tu cream hat and round scarf, gold with purple stones Lovisa earrings.

Just from family but quite happy with it all. Previous years I’ve asked for expensive makeup and got it but don’t need any more.

I like pottery and have been given a genuine Ming saucer. However it was broken at some point and been stuck back together with glue so it was not a massive expense that the description would indicate. It came from an auction house who guarantee it is Ming, but was actually only circa £100 due to the damage.

But I am not that bothered about gifts to be honest. And even though it is broken it is still precious to me. DH was upset and has offered me a 3 day break in September to see something I really want to see. So, all good here as far as i am concerned!

I'm delighted - DH got me some fancy olive oil and a subscription so I'll get fancy olive oil every other month all year. I love olive oil and I'm a sucker for fancy/posh food, so it's perfect.

Style and beauty wise I got a lovely gold necklace, some beautiful leather gloves and a Sanctuary spa gift set :)

The two Cs. Chanel and chocolate. Perfect.

I got some thermal socks, 2 very pretty lace edged thermal tops in white and duck egg blue, a furry leopard print hot water bottle and lots of hand cream (my presents tend to be cold weather themed!LOL).
oh, and I also went abit mad in the black friday sales from Joanie and Disturbia and saved the parcels to open til today (t shirt, gilet, cardigan and erm...4 new dresses!).

Clothing wise - scamp and dude sweatshirt, I quite like but not my favourite. Some Primark wool socks, surprisingly good! And a walking apron for my ceramic work in a beautiful pink.

Also a bottle of prada perfume and the loccotane verbena gift set I like.

I got the Glossier You perfume which is gorgeous. I fear the sales may yet hold more presents, from me to me...

V&A earrings and necklace and hand cream from DH. Gorgeous PJs from Ds plus fingerless gloves and hoody thingy from Dd.

I gave my ex DH: MO cuisle shoulder neck back massager. It's amazing, I m gonna buy one for myself. Everyone should have one 🎉🎄

My best present is a voucher for my hairdresser for the cut and style I usually have … not necessarily the most expensive, but so thoughtful 🥰

I did. But only because I bought it myself and they wrapped it for me from the family.

Husband got me an eternity ring. New Ravenclaw hoodie, rice cooker, ereader, potato ricer (always wanted one) and lots of smaller things (smellies, socks etc)

I did. I get to go home tomorrow from hospital ICU after coronary bypass surgery on Monday. I did get to watch the family open presents on FaceTime, which was great.

Very happy. I got the Jo Malone advent calendar from DH, the John Lewis beauty heroes box, a candle and portable diffuser from the White Company and a voucher for The Ivy. 😊

A box came from DD this week in Space NK packaging, so assumed she'd got me a Beauty Box-nope Tom Ford Black orchid gift set, which i didn't think she remembered i liked. Very chuffed.

I bought myself a ricer n last years Joseph Joseph sale. It’s a twisty one and I live using it.
