Any longchamp experts?

I met my Aunt on Tuesday. We exchanged gifts and she gave me this bag - I will upload photos. It’s a longchamp. This has thrown me as we usually just give a token gift of about £20 odd and have lunch together.

I do like this style of bag but I don’t like the colour so I want to exchange but I am questioning if it’s real or not as I know how much they cost in the shops and this level of spend is out of character. If this is real I will ask about exchanging. If it’s a fake one I will just leave it as I don’t was to embarrass her. She’s in her 80s.

This is how I unwrapped it. Any thoughts? It feels good quality but I haven’t unbuttoned it.

I got DD one from Brown Thomas, no plastic on handles but did have the label on. Came in a plastic Longchamp bag too with tissue behind the press stud.

I received one yesterday as a present and it came from JL, packaged as described here.

I see quite a lot of fakes for sale, and they all have these plastic covers on the handles.

If she bought it in person, she may have bought it from a market stall or similar and been within the 20 normal budget.

The fakes I see are mostly in black and navy.

I am sure you will get a decent amount of use out of it anyway though.

Just please don't embarrass yourself by going in to ask for an exchange.
