Just need to say this somewhere as it's a pet peeve.
If an outfit needs you to have one hand in your pocket in order to look good, it's not really a good outfit is it?

Mine is only looking decent with a coat. I take my coat off when I’m inside (at work, at friends etc). So whilst I appreciate a good coat ties an outfit together, I want it to look finished and polished both with and without the outside layer.

Or putting belts over a coat. I’d look like Worzel Gummidge.

Oh yes, when you need a coat and also a bag to make the outfit. Once I arrive the coat and bag are coming off and I'll be left with the boring jeans and t shirt underneath
