Seriously confused.......Hair Straighteners.....which ones?

I have decided to invest in a decent pair of straighteners since having my long-ish hair cut into a bob which is almost shoulder length at the front and much shorter at the back.

I was going to get GHD straighteners on the advice of my hair stylist but decided to look online at reviews and two other brands look promising...FHI and T3.

Now I am totally confused as to which would be best for my hair which is very thick and quite wavy. Does anyone have any advice as everyone I ask tells me to go for the GHD straighteners and have never heard of the other two.

Apologies for any errors in this message I have been up all night and I am on here trying to distract myself from the essay I am supposed to be writing

Thanks in advance

Well I have the GHDs and love, love, love them but I do have very fine, straightish hair.

My colleague has thicker hair which soundes similar to yours - she has the T3 set and loves them. But I've no idea if she tried the GHDs first or not.

Sorry this doesn't help at all.

I don't know about the fhi and the t3 but I bought several cheapy ones which where rubbish or took forever.

Ghd are the best i've had imo - they straighten my thick hair in no time and it stays straight for a couple of days. well worth the money.

I want to buy some too and have only heard of ghd, as that's the one my hairdresser uses so I assume it must be pretty good to stand up to so much use.

Good luck with the essay.

I've got t3's which my DH got me for my birthday after much research from him on the Internet. They are good on my hair which is shoulder length - been growing it over the last year. I've not used ghds as such apart from when I've had my haircut and my hairdresser swears by them. One thing I would say is that GHDs are multi voltage and T3s aren't so when I went to the us I ended up getting cheapy set to take!
