Does anyone wear dresses from Bravissimo?

I recently went to one of their shops and got properly fitted for two bras - fab.

Looking in their catalogue, I've seen a black dress that looks nice in a floaty fabric. I was just wondering if anyone wore Bravissimo dresses and what are they like?

Yes I've got my eye on one of those dresses for work - I'm waiting for the sale!

I tried one on in a shop but it looked awful on me. I'm a similar shape to the blonde they are using at the moment, so I use her as a good indicator of whether something will work on me, so far the knee length ones are losing with me. They do fit nice though, it's just they don't suit me.

I would like to wait for the sale too but have a wedding to go to in a couple of weeks. I thought a simple black dress might be good. I am also not sure of their curvy, very curvy, super curvy etc fit.

The one I like is called the 'Anywear' dress and it's machine washable - hurray.

I am with Tink - VERY disappointed when I tried on the dresses in the shop. Less sex siren more old maid. Grim and overpriced for what it was

Flamesparrow · 10/06/2008 22:28

I had a loooooooooooooovely wrap dress... but lost weight

I have a couple of their tops and really love them. Some are more "matronly" than others. Really you need to measure carefully/try a few on to get the hang of the Super Curvy system. They have loads more dresses this season so there's better choice tham previously IMO

I don't live near a shop so it would mean ordering a few online and trying them. Are they good at refunding things no quibble?

It wouldn't be that hard for them to have a chart to relate to bra sizes, would it?

They're not that hard to work out, they tell you what measurements you need and then you match them up on the chart.

I'd buy more of their clothes, I can lose two dress sizes in the time it takes to change! But they're just so expensive

Can confirm that Bravissimo do free, no quibble refunds. IIRC the item comes packed in a cardboard posting box, with a freepost returns label included. I had to swap something for a bigger size recently and it all turned around very smoothly. I think they realise that fit is hard to guess online and cater for that.

thanks blithedance.
