Very cool and fun pinafore dress needed

Hi I am going to a cool party in winter, not a particularly dressy event, but I want to wear a dress. Here are a couple of examples of dresses I've found that would work well with a long sleeve top under, tights and flat ankle boots:

I have loads of them, mostly got pretty cheap off Vinted.

I have one similar to the Lucy & Yak one in plain cord. It's an easy to wear style.
Black top, black tights, black ankle boots.

I think you'd want to wear it a lot and you could wear it all through autumn to spring, so price per wear would be quite low.

They're so easy, you just go for thicker tights and top under it when it's cold.

This is a bargain. Only in sizes 16 - 24 online but if you need smaller you may get one in store. If you like leopard print, it’d look fab with a black polo neck and tights.

Im not a leopard lover I'm afraid. Still haven't found a print I completely love. I'd be open to denim or cord if not a print. In that case it would need to be a really nice shaped pinafore or shift dress. I am slim and fairly short.

Good god, the L&Y one is so expensive, and yet the first thing I noticed is that they couldn't even be bothered to pattern match the pockets. It makes it look cheap, which is a real shame.

The Joanie mushroom print one is very cute, though!
